Rising waters again....

A couple of days of rain and water levels are back up....


look at the log bay compared to just the day before!


and look at the activity!  This was just out from the log bay....


and this was some of the audience.  There were also quite a few little birds in the bushes...


like this Fox Sparrow....one of a number of them that have been hanging out the last few days...


and of course the Song Sparrow....as well as Towhee, Red-wing Blackbirds, and Chickadees. 

Today the parks department was working in the park so couldn't walk that far but there was lots to see at our end....with the higher water the swans have moved in...


including the family of Trumpeter's with 4 youngsters....


and this lone juvenile....always accompanied by a couple of female Common Mergansers...


and this family of I think Tundra's that are always accompanied by a lone Canada Goose!

Now I'll just toss in some more eagle pictures since this seems to be one of the best years we've had for numbers of eagles....
